New Promat TLFR Board™ for fire and thermal insulation to concrete soffits

Promat has launched Promat TLFR Board™ to compliment its existing range of soffit insulation solutions.
There is an increasing requirement to upgrade the thermal performance and fire resistance of semi-exposed concrete decks both in the conversion and refurbishment of existing buildings, and in new build constructions.
Promat TLFR Board™ is a high-density calcium silicate board bonded to Rockwool stone wool insulation and is designed to be fixed directly to the underside of concrete floors to achieve high levels of fire, thermal and acoustic insulation.
Both the calcium silicate facing board and stone wool insulation elements of the system are non-combustible and have an A1 classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-1.

We have developed this product in conjunction with our partners at Rockwool in response to current market demand and likely future legislative changes.”
Promat TLFR Board™ is available in thicknesses of 136mm or 166mm and is able to achieve up to 180 minutes fire resistance and U-value ratings as low as 0.20W/m2K when fitted to a 150mm concrete soffit.
