Promat launches new guide to Swimming Pool Applications

Promat has launched a guide to moisture resistant ceiling and wall lining systems specifically for use in swimming pool and other high humidity environments.
The Promat system can be used to form a seamless ceiling and wall lining and incorporates Promat MASTERBOARD® moisture resistant calcium silicate board, a corrosion resistant metal support structure and a Steridex® protective coating. The completed system provides a robust vapour barrier that helps control condensation levels, protecting materials above the ceiling from the effects of high humidity and corrosive atmospheres below.
Promat MASTERBOARD® is a versatile Class 0 building board suitable for use in a wide range of both internal and semi-exposed applications. It is the only board backed by BBA certification (Certificate: 09/2500) and has been successfully installed at over 200 swimming pools throughout the UK and Ireland.
As well as moisture resistant systems, Promat are renowned for passive fire protection solutions including compartmentation, fire stopping and structural steelwork protection.
