Promat has launched PROMINA®-M, a new 4-in-1 multi-purpose building board developed using the latest PromaX® matrix technology to form a Cement Bound Matrix (CBM).
PROMINA®-M is a non-combustible building board offering outstanding fire resistance, excellent physical strength, high moisture resistance and an impressive acoustic performance. A robust, light weight building board, PROMINA®-M can be used in a number of internal and semi-exposed applications.
PROMINA®-M offers many advantages when used as an internal wall lining or partition system and has been independently tested to provide up to 30 minutes fire protection for steel and timber frame partitions.
Ceilings, Floors & Roofs can also benefit from PROMINA®-M’s fire, moisture, acoustic and impact resistant properties and the board can be incorporated into concealed and suspended ceilings, self-supporting ceiling membranes and exposed suspended grid ceilings using standard fixings and metalwork.
PROMINA®-M can be used effectively in a number of applications where fire, moisture, acoustic and impact performance is required, including boiler backing,soffits and canopies, service enclosures, roof sheathing, acoustic underlays, wet room flooring overlays and portable and prefabricated buildings.
