Promat's Blackburn factory manufactures the following products:

Promat DURASTEEL^®This product is manufactured using the Rhodes Press Perforator, John Shaw Press and guillotines. It is manufactured using a fibre cement core mechanically bonded between 2 steel sheets; either galvanised or stainless steel. A major capital investment in 2008 has improved the quality and performance of the DURASTEEL^®product.

Promat DALFRATEX^®
This is a unique product, from both a material and manufacturing viewpoint. It is classed as High Temperature Insulation material and its main constituent is fibreglass cloth which has to be 'leached' in acid to remove any contaminants to the cloth. This then leaves the cloth inert and able to resist both fire and heat, but also provides an insulating medium to any equipment or people working near the heat source.
