Promat Fire Day 2010
Fire Safety - A Joined Up Approach?

2009

Following the success of the 2008 event, Promat hosted the second “Fire Day” industry forum at Ascot racecourse during June.

The event attracted a broad mix of stakeholders from within the construction industry including clients, contractors, architects and distributors, and provided valuable insights into current issues and future developments for fire safety in the UK.

Keynote presentations from some of the industry’s leading experts focused on topical issues including current market conditions, design failures, legislation, build programme and fire protection of high rise buildings.

“It was an excellent and informative day with a well rounded forum of fine speakers from across the whole spectrum of the industry. Promat are to be praised for continuing to promote innovation and continuous improvement within this period of recession in order that quality, safety and customer satisfaction remain paramount for the future of the industry.” commented Chris Bowley of Le Crossing Company Ltd.
