Products from Promat’s extensive range have been combined to create a comprehensive passive fire protection solution for a major new £350 million retail development in Yorkshire.

“The combination of our product quality and expert technical advice played a key role in Promat products being chosen for Trinity Leeds,” comments Promat’s Area Sales Manager, Thomas Sheridan. “The knowledge and experience we have gained through working on similar large-scale retail projects has helped ensure we could provide the most robust and effective solutions possible for this project.”

“This is a major development which will provide work and leisure opportunities to many thousands of people. One of the key concerns on this type of project is the need to ensure reliable protection at the various interface points where different types of fire protection products meet,” adds Thomas.

“As with any system, the integrity of a building is only as good as its weakest point. We were able to take an holistic approach to the protection and supply a full range of robust, third-party accredited solutions that protect all aspects of the building.”
